The brief

The African Union Foundation needed a bilingual annual report that could communicate institutional impact clearly across English and French audiences. The report had to support donor communication, stakeholder updates and public-facing reporting while staying credible, structured and easy to navigate.

The approach

The English and French editions were treated as one connected publication system rather than two separate documents. Covers, typography, hierarchy, photography, data modules and page rhythm were designed to create consistency across both languages.

The system needed to feel formal enough for an institution, but still warm and visual enough to keep programme impact visible.
