Access was the problem, not talent.
Cinga eSports set out to become South Africa's platform for gaming culture and tournament discovery. Tournaments, venues and events were scattered across social platforms, organiser pages and informal channels, leaving players without one dependable place to find where to compete or where to play.
Local energy. Built to publish.
A high-contrast identity designed to hold up across a feed, a tournament bracket and a venue wall. Confident red and yellow, near-black foundations and a flexible graphic language give the team a system it can use every day.
Five clear ways into the scene.
One mobile-first product, structured around the jobs players, organisers and partners need to complete quickly. The design system scales from long-form discovery to quick mobile scanning without losing hierarchy or the next useful action.
Tournament Radar
A structured, filterable directory of tournaments worth entering.
Play Spots
Places to play across the country, from premium arenas to kasi hubs.
Cinga Events
First-party tournaments and community activations.
Culture
Local coverage of the scene, in its own voice.
Access Activations
A credible route for partners into gaming communities.
One system, many publishing moments.
News covers, tournament listings, event articles, social posts and announcements share one structure, so the team can publish at pace while every format still feels unmistakably Cinga.
The same system carries partner activations, from sponsored tournaments and community gaming days to Play Spot campaigns.
A national platform, built to perform.
Cinga launched as a structured home for South African gaming: five ways into the platform, a founding Play Spots directory across eight provinces, local editorial and a credible route for partners, all under one brand.
